Notes2012 two CD collection. Floyd Cramer was Nashville's most prolific pianist both as a performer and a session musician whose slip-note playing style came to typify the pop-orientated Nashville sound of the '50s and early '60s. This set focuses on four of his albums (Hello Blues, Last Date, on the Rebound and America's Biggest Selling Pianist) which were released between 1960 and 1961 and include the UK #1 hit, "Last Date". Considered by his peers to be one of the greatest piano players, Floyd Cramer sadly died in 1997. He left behind him a legacy of literally thousands of songs to which he lent his brilliant piano playing. Jasmine.
