This Boss SE553 is a three-way automotive speaker that leverages a poly-injection woofer cone, a stamped basket, and two tweeters, one Piezo and one polyimide, to deliver a comprehensive soundscape to consumers. This Boss 5.25-inch car speaker uses its Piezo tweeter to execute clean and bright high tones and the polyimide dome tweeter to address mids, as well. The poly-injection woofer cone on this Boss SE553 works with a powerful magnet structure and a stamped basket to drive a solid bass sound that is not corrupted by buzz that can result from system destabilization. The mounting depth of this Boss 5.25-inch car speaker is only 1.75 inches, working with the diameter of this three-way automotive speaker to make it an easy unit to install in many standard speaker openings. With an SPL rating of 90 dB and a power handling maximum of 225 watts as well, this Boss 5.25-inch car speaker is a solid, quality performer that will delivers rich, detailed, and powerful sound to an array of audio environments.
