All hands, battlestations. Return to the Pacific arena for 28 new missions full of strategic World War II naval and air battles in "Battlestations: Pacific" for the Microsoft Xbox 360. You have the option to play as the Japanese in an alternate history campaign that starts at Pearl Harbor and ends with a Japanese victory, or as the United States in a historically based campaign that begins after the Battle of Midway and continues through the end of the war. The game combines elements of real-time strategy and pure military action by allowing players to coordinate attacks on a broad tactical level, and then switch to any individual plane, ship, or submarine for intense combat. There are more than 100 controllable units, including 21 new fighting machines. For the first time in the series, gamers can capture entire islands. Up to eight players can participate in five different multiplayer modes.
