Synopsis
Third Nephi stands as an independent witness of the linchpin doctrine of the entire Christian faith---the literal, bodily resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. This small volume illustrates these ideas to help all of us understand why Third Nephi may justly be called the Fifth Gospel, and why it is so valuable to the world. Grow your testimony and your love for the Savior with this inspiring book., On a windy day in February 1910, a young Italian clergyman, Vincenzo di Francesca, walked down Broadway in New York City. He came upon a trash barrel full of ashes and saw a book lying on top, its pages turning in the stiff wind that was blowing in from the sea. The book was printed in English; its form and binding gave the impression of a religious book. But it had been stripped of its cover and title page. Vincenzo Took the book and began to read it. He finished reading the book several hours later, and then he reread it a second, third, and fourth time. He became convinced of its truth. After much study, he said he ôfound it fit to say that the book was a fifth gospel of the Redeemerö! Many years and much hardship passed, including two world wars, before Brother Vincenzo di Francesca was able to be baptized. But the ôfifth gospelö changed his life forever from the moment he first saw it. Book jacket.
