However, the item is new as described! The packaging was sufficient as well. It was raining very hard when my order was delivered, and it was encased in two separate layers. I know this because I ordered a larger size of this same item for my other pet from Amazon and that one had no odor whatsoever. I could not use this item as my pet is allergic to Febreze. Not sure if the seller would/could have know this.
