I assure you that the top was not shrunken prior to shipping it to you. In fact, the top was in pristine condition when sent. In regards to the fit, this is a *vintage* silk top with no stretch, so it may feel a bit more snug compared to a modern size medium. Again, I hate to hear of the disappointment.
