Good plus condition with the cloth a little worn, and some small areas of loss. Internally, the bottom closed page edges have scattered foxing with occasionally appears on the margin of a page. Very occasional other spots. The mull is showing between the fronitspiece and the title page, but the binding is still sound. Illustrated with 64 pages of photographic plates and four folding maps. A very interesting account of Arctic explorations across Greenland using planes and dog sleds, including observations of the Inuit way of life. 26cm, 10.25 inches, tall, xv, 304 pages.”
