The overall appearance of the controller did seem "like new" as claimed, with one exception. The left side of the case around the hand grip wasn't flush, fortunately I managed to get it popped back into place after watching a video of someone taking it apart. Makes me wonder if it was opened for repairs at some point. However, seems to be working fine so far, I'm satisfied for the price paid.
