Mounting nuts had been warped from the heat of welding and had some weld spackle in the threads, so it needed to be tapped. The bracket end that attaches to the frame needed to have the corners ground down to fit the mounting flanges on the tank, then needed to be painted. Lastly the hardware that comes is 3/4 inch and will contact the triple tree, had to get 1/2 inch to make the clearance.

I am slightly concerned about the overall size and thickness of the aluminum “winged” portion, or the “legs” of the V. I think for piece of kind, they could be a little beefier. Otherwise, it seems to be a decent product.
