The cats were smaller and bigger in circumference so we couldn't cut the old heat shields off and put them on, but they make exhaust heat tape for that now though. It's not my 1st choice, but at the time, it was my only choice. The heat tape is supposed to shrink tighter and tighter every time it heats up. The clamps created an exhaust leak, but almost all clamps do too. Not a big deal, I just took it to my friend who has a muffler shop and they took the clamps off and welded it.
