- *****- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseBrand new distributor for my engine. Looks good and works great (thus far). For the price it really can't be beat unless you absolutely have to have a factory unit. I did have to enlarge the holes on the retaining plate so that it would line up with my distributor pedestal but a moment's time with a die grinder and it works a charm, and again, for the price, really worth the little bit of effort.

This dist does NOT use the L16 or L20 dist cap and rotor.This replacement distributor will only fit a L20 type distributor pedastal and maybe a little dremel tool slot thetime correctly. This WILL NOT fit a stock Datsun 5 mount.Foto 1 )is the new dist with L18/20 pedastal. photo 2) left L16/510/521 pedastal will not work.photo3) note the clocking and tang is shorter . Maybe if one flips timing plates /move the oil pump this can work
