- 2***2 (21)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseUpon arrival of the alternator the backing plate was beat up and scratched. The packing paper stuck to it like it was spray painted and then immediately put into the box. I was going to pass this off as a minor visual defect of having a refurbished alternator. I installed the alternator according to my service manual and started my car. The alternator bearing is totally busted making a high pitch squeal and the alternator doesn't charge or supply power.
