    This hat is a feather hat which is similar to the hat my mother wore for her wedding. Hers was much lighter with some color mixed in. It was a gift for her, she talks about her beautiful wedding dress (1953) which she swears my father threw away. There would be no replacing the dress but it brings nice memories
