The long-running, topical-satirical, hyphen-heavy panel-show HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU began in 1990; PaulÆs deadpan humour and<BR><BR>biting wit instantly delighted millions of viewers, and continues to make the show an unmissable highlight of British comedy TV. His<BR><BR>own sketch show PAUL MERTON û THE SERIES (1992-3) saw him delve deeper into his unique world of inventive and surreal humour, and in<BR><BR>1999 he became host of the comedy chat-show ROOM 101.<BR><BR>The Collection also features Paul MertonÆs appearances on PARKINSON and CLIVE ANDERSON TALKS BACK, as well as two versions of his acclaimed short<BR><BR>film The Suicidal Dog. Paul is one of the nationÆs best-loved comedians, and the performances collected on this DVD show exactly why his unique comic talent is so treasured by his millions of fans.
