Using one unit as straight frequency counter .. and the other as programmable VFO offset for HF XCVR to show actual operating frequency. 2.5 ppm timebase is adequate for the HF radio .. can easily get 0.5ppm external timebase for frequency counter application. Nice product p, good price, great vendor!
