The book has been rebound in full cowhide that has been carved and colored with leather dyes and acrylic paint. The interior is completely original with all pages and illustrations present. The book has been bound with new marbled paper (made by me) endpapers. The book is very old and the interior has signs of wear—but it is all there. The paper shows age toning.The rest of the interior is clean. The book is capable of being read with proper care if you so desire. The box is hand-made with moire patterned vinyl coated paper and a gilt stamped leather spine insert. The interior of the box is covered with red suede and black kid leather.”
