I strung a mains extension cable through an open window in each car, and drove the device from a mains/usb adaptor. The leds seemed to work as described, although I found the translated instructions slightly garbled. Both cars were good afterwards. Trip mileage readings and clocks had zeroed, but the radios worked. Speedy delivery and double-boxed - great purchase.
