The legs don't seem to lock in place exactly but there is a stop to catch them when they are fully opened/angled out. The quick release plate is a nice feature. I found the knobs controlling the camera platform's angle confusing but it works fine if I loosen/tighten them all at once so it doesn't matter too much what they do individually. Seems like it will work well enough for me.

I’ve had several experiences where they open a PO or some fictiona address in the US, but if u try to return the item, the return address is Chinese and they don’t want to take item back. Also, I’m on the West Coast and usually when I buy from Cali, it takes 2-3 days to get here, not 11 days like it took this time.
