Product works well. As soon as the battery was installed my Kindle Paperwhite (Gen 1) showed that it was ready to charge and it did not take a long time on charge for it to start booting up again. The plastic tools provided, whilst a nice gesture, weren't strong enough to open the cover up but once I got that off the tiny screwdrivers provided were very useful for removing the very small screws holding the back on.
