I did not know until after I ordered and looked at the listing more carefully and surmised they are not original Lego. For the price, the set works well and is of good quality. The forward and backward buttons of the remote are not designed the same way as the original Lego one, but is functional. I would order again for any other Lego models I want to implement Power Functions for.
