My bad. I thought the car being an Atlas O manufactured product would have diecast trucks and couplers. The entire car, frame, trucks and couplers are plastic. An acquaintance told me this is an old Atlas product from the 70s and that I paid too much for it. Photos included with the ad were not detailed enough to determine the trucks and non-working couplers were plastic. The car itself is nice and I will determine how to install diecast trucks and couplers.
