I found when I got it, the brass spline insert is only about half the thickness of the Black Maxx prop. Also, Splines on Black Maxx go all the way through, but this one goes about 2/3 through then smooth. Once I get the old prop fixed, it goes back on. This one will work for a backup. I'm not being critical of the item, just pointing out there is a reason why it's cheaper.
