Synopsis
Buy a new version of this Connected Casebook and receive access to the online e-book, practice questions from your favorite study aids, and an outline tool on CasebookConnect, the all in one learning solution for law school students. CasebookConnect offers you what you need most to be successful in your law school classes portability, meaningful feedback, and greater efficiency. Screen reader support enabled. Well-known and experienced authors, highly respected in the clinical field, Thomas A. Mauet and Warren D. Wolfson provide a complete review of the effective use of evidence in a trial setting. Trial Evidence, Sixth Edition is structured around the way judges and trial lawyers think about evidentiary rules, with particular focus on the Federal Rules of Evidence. Numerous examples show how evidentiary issues actually arise, both before and during trial. A logical organization follows the sequence of a trial: opening statement, direct examination, cross examination, and closing arguments. Law and Practice sections throughout the book are based on actual federal and state cases and bring real life to the law of evidence. The accessible style of Trial Evidence always focuses on practice over theory. Key Features of the New Edition: Revised and expanded Sec. 7.1 and other sections dealing with the Sixth Amendment Confrontation Clause, including the Supreme Court s most recent decision in Ohio v. Clark, decided in June 2015 Revised Sec. 10.11 covering electronic communications evidence. In particular, the issue of authentication has become central in determining the admissibility of electronic communications, and the section expands its analysis of this issue Includes discussions of amendments to Rules 801(d)(1)(B) and 803(6)-(8) of the Federal Rules of Evidence, which became law on December 1, 2014 Includes all Supreme Court decisions through June 2015 affecting evidence rules

Great transaction, exactly as described, packed well, and promptly shipped on August 6th. Unfortunately the U.S. Postal Service took 23 calendar days to deliver the book. It was shipped from Pennsylvania, to Atlanta, past Alabama to Texas, enjoyed several days in Texas, then to Minneapolis, Jacksonville, Florida, back to Atlanta, finally to Birmingham, and Huntsville. The seller was very responsive and I decided it was interesting to see if/how the book would arrive. Thanks, Joe

Excellent purchase. Was able to get all three items from the one seller. Seller was able to bundle all three items together into one package. Items as described and arrived in perfect condition. Good communication around shipping and tracking as items delayed and not able to be delivered by original estimate. Thanks to shipping updates I was able to track the items arriving before the extended delivery time. Thank you for making these items available on EBay.
