    My deepest apologies. This was not a case of poor packing, but of excessive abuse by USPS. These lids are made of steel. To damage them to that extent took considerable force. I pack based on normal handling, not metal bending abuse to make shipping these fine lids affordable to all. To pack them to avoid such abuse, the cost would be prohibitive.
