In the third film of the series, 'Resident Evil: Extinction,' most of the Earth has become a sizzling desert where few people survived the spread of the T-virus, which has turned most of the inhabitants into zombies. The Sony Pictures horror film DVD from 2007 includes digital sound, subtitles, and a widescreen format. The action follows superhuman survivor Alice, played by Milla Jovovich, who is fighting for survival and battling the evil Umbrella Corp., which is to blame for the release of the virus. Alice unites with a band of survivors, and together they fight throngs of the undead to make their way to the safe haven of Alaska. The film series is based on a classic video game.
