Binding has minimal wear. The majority of pages are undamaged with minimal creasing or tearing, minimal pencil underlining of text, no highlighting of text, no writing in margins. No missing pages.

Taking it out, I could hear rattling emitting, as if two or so components had become loose; Presumably in transit. Furthermore, it would take two to three times for the unit to read a tape; Otherwise, the VCR would accept, but rotate the reels as if I were pushing “fast forward” , and then eject it after five seconds. I recommend cleaning the tape, as they can get covered with dust or mold. Age and magnetic degradation is also a risk with a discontinued format like VHS. I believe the packaging was sufficient due to the packing paper it was wrapped in, along with the styrofoam. Unfortunately, the stated return policy stands. This is also not the place to ask for a return, and I think the description was accurate and the discount generous.
