Because it was out of the USA I paid almost as much as the item cost in shipping. But I knew that ahead of time. I also knew there would be a tarriff to be paid for my import. As part of my negotiations with the seller it was agreed, in writing, that we would split the tariff. I paid the whole tariff up front and subsequently asked the seller to reimbursed me for his half. The seller refused ro pay. And still has not paid. Be careful.
