I heated it in hot water as it says to, but barely got it on. Then it wouldn't go on again. Over and over. I got it on and put it in the fridge, and it started going off and on easily. After you heat up the lid in water, immediately put it on the bowl and let it sit so the seal can mold to the bowl. I've had this same problem with a couple pieces of my own Tupperware. Heating it and letting it sit has always worked for me. You could also try a little oil on the ledge where the lid goes on. If you're still having problems with it, let me know. I can always swap out the lid.
