There's a knob there that can turn up ambient sounds, usable, but can pick up a lot of background noise and tends to be on the "tinny" side. Bluetooth feature works reasonably well, except that the headset only connects to a single device at a time (-1 star). Compatibility seems to be with newer Bluetooth only, works fine on my laptop and Android 10 phone, but won't work with my Yaesu FT5-DR.
