I saw the feedback you left and first thing I wanted to do was reach out to you to see if I c The button itself should just push right into the ignition. The error message you are getting would not be related to the button but has to-do with the key fob you are using. Either the key fob needs a new battery or it needs to be programmed by a dealer or locksmith to the vehicle. I would suggest starting with replacing the battery in the key fob first.
