It is an exact match to the original mirror and fits my 2010 Subaru Forester perfectly. To remove the existing rear view mirror just rotate the base mount 90 degrees and pull down. To install the new one, slide the base mount in 90 degrees to its receiver until it stops, and then rotate 90 degrees to lock it in place.
