I looked on the Osprey site and found that the bag could be cleaned with mild detergent so, I used Seventh Generation - a 98 percent plant based cleaner with natural oils used for scent. My understanding was that essential oil scents dissipate faster than chemical ones. I hope that the scent dissipated as needed. Again, I truly apologize for my error.
