Received fan may be better than the one ordered, but it is not the same, not M233, not FRU 4W0435. It has more blades and is .29A instead of .23A. This would be very welcome if it cools more strongly. It is a 3 wire which is a good sign (4 wire models freeze my x220). It fits exactly into the heatsink and the screw holes match. I wanted it to keep on hand in case compatible fans became unavailable in the future. I don't feel up to installing it for a test. Install is a long task.
