Extremely well packed. No visible issues. Ran several tests with my Denon Audussey mic and they seem to be working just fine. I would rather install the Klipsch CDTx's in my ceiling for Atmos, but I would have to bore a hole through about 10 joists in the ceiling and cut out and patch too much drywall. I hate mudding and sanding!!! These are a great alternative and fit nicely on top of my bi-amp'ed RP500s.
