Giving seller benefit of the doubt & leaving positive rating. The packaging enclosing my light bulb had been previously removed. It was partially taped closed but a chunk of original packaging was missing. When I installed it in my lamp it didn't work. That could be because of my lamp's electrical system is shorted out or, the bulb is no good. I'll never know because I'm trashing the lamp. Easier to replace than to repair or order another bulb.
