- r***f (931)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThis rings are the perfect diameter to fit into NEMA head area lights so I've been experimenting with combining these red LEDs with HID lamps. . 660nm seems to be the best match to add to SON & SDW Lamps. Only issue I have is that the listing says 9w but the supplied 300mA driver runs this at around 5w+. . 5w is sufficient for my application but it would be nice to know what the LEDs are actually rated at.
- r***f (931)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThis appears to be the right wavelength (660nm) and current(300mA), but the output is around 5 watts if you use the supplied driver instead of the 9w advertised. . You would need a 500mA driver to get 9w out of this thing, but I am happy with the light output at 5 watts.
- r***f (931)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseSeems to be more or less as described, however it appears to be closer to 5w output instead of 9w. . At 300 mA the voltage across the LEDs is a bit under 17v. Bought all 3 colors (730, 660, and 630) and the shorter wavelengths drop a bit more voltage, but not much. . Still works for my application though.
