Functionally the reel is good. I do like the way it retrieves and it is balanced well with the rod I bought it for. The only drawback to its operation is that it is a fixed drag. There is no way to adjust the drag and it is not a strong drag at all. I’m learning to compensate that issue with hand control. I wouldn’t have purchased the reel if I had known about this feature or lack there of. Also, there was no instructions included with the reel in the box.
