    I tested the radio. Advertised to have ,,8 watts output. I never could get that. Fully charged battery. Vhf gmrs channels 5.5 output. Uhf I checked several freq best I got was 6,5 wats. Radio did pick up government weather channels and fm stations. All in all not bad. If radio just had the 8 wats output I would buy several.
