I needed this to support a single sync-on-green capable monitor connected to multiple old SGI machines. If I bought a VGA switch that had a microcontroller in it, there's a really good chance that wouldn't have worked. So far, it works great! Seller also shipped it quickly, no communication necessary outside the sale. Came well packaged and undamaged.
