I did notice that the main jet wasn't exactly to the same spec as the original (it had some additional holes) but not sure if that would be an issue. The carb float needles were also different (the kit had three but none matched) but that didn't matter me and may be because of the age of the engine. I'm sure changes to parts happen over 50 years. Overall, this was a good experience.
