Jonathan Baker aka Jehovah's Boy was born on February 29,1984 and was raised in Erie, Pa. Since the age of three he has been involved with music by singing in his home church choir (Shiloh Baptist Church). As he got older he began to find interest in playing different instruments like the drums, piano and organ, as well as singing more and leading in praise and worship. In 2003 he started his spring semester in college at Gannon University and then transferred to Edinboro University for music and found that he had another gift that he didn't even know he had, which was gospel rap. After withdrawing from college, he went on to become apart of another ministry at Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist church where Bishop Jesse N. Gavin is the Pastor, which is still his home church now. He started working on his very first gospel rap album "Let the Lord Use You" which dropped in February of 2007. After the out of school hiatus, he realized that he needed to go back to get his degree and so he decided to go to Capital University in Columbus, Oh for Music Technology. While being there he came out with his second CD entitled "From My Heart to Yours" in October of 2008. With God's grace he met a lot of good people in the Columbus area. Since then he has been so focused spiritually and academically to do what God has called him to do in His Kingdom. He has also had the opportunity of a lifetime in 2009 with being able to be on the Bobby Jones Gospel television show! With a strong work ethic, a love for music, and a man after God's own heart, Jehovah's Boy is being molded into being more of a willing vessel and the Man of God that God wants him to be. With a mixtape out called "PA In The Atmosphere" and now working on the highly anticipated album "Power & Authority", JB is looking to reach a generation that is in need and making sure that God is the main focus. "With God as the main focus, the nations will be met and we will bow and confess that He is Lord. If you take care of God's business, He'll take care of yours."
