I do not believe this was mentioned in the description. I am 87 years old and no way could I do this. I saved the thread and the blank canvas in case I might try to create a small picture--the rest I discarded. It was beautifully wrapped and mailed to me in a very prompt manner. Perhaps the seller did not realize that the canvas was not printed with the picture.
