I was looking for a case with multiple compartments to separate school supplies. I was under the impression that this pencil case had 3 compartments, but there is a small mesh between the side opening and one of the main compartments. So it is basically 2 compartments and a side opening. The side pockets in the compartments are small and don't hold many items. The pencils are too long for the case, I had to make them short to fit.
