I need a spare bluray drive just in case my current one dies on me anyway. That said, the item is what it was advertised, it was just a newer model than I thought it was. It was brand new but with none of the post consumer wates and flashy branding that would inflate the price anywhere else. Very reasonable price. The shipping from China was fast.
