Advertised as natural & whole, but it is a CUT (a slice) with a translucent dome on top of it. The authenticity card which accompanied it seemed to pertain to the original opal, rather than this sliver of it. Having said this, it is exceedingly vibrant & mesmerizing. It’s really the best way for it to be appreciated, I would just have liked to know this information beforehand.
