Synopsis
Here's a hilarious after-dinner game for contestants of all ages--though perhaps the more squeamish players should stick with gin rummy or checkers. Is There a Doctor in the House? tests each player's knowledge of medicine, and its creators claim it will also improve the medical awareness of even the most hopeless contestant. However, it will not help any player graduate from medical school. The game's components are-- A 52-card quiz deck A three-panel laminated fold-out chart of the human body plus 12 reusable electrostatic stickers illustrating body organs and bones that players attach to the chart A 32-page concertina-style fold-out book of rules, strategies, and crash-course medical instruction A handsome color-lithographed metal box to hold the game's components A typical quiz card asks a question like this one: The ambulance team brings in a car accident victim suffering from shock. What do you do? A. Refer him for counseling. B. Arrange an immediate transfusion. C. Wrap him in a blanket and give him a cup of tea.
