The Biostar TA990FXE is a socket AM3+ motherboard designed for use with PCs that support an ATX form factor. This Biostar motherboard features a charge booster, which increases the charging time ofapplication le devices when they are connected to the motherboard. With this feature, buyers can charge devices up to 42 percent faster. The Biostar TA990FXE can support the AMD FX, Phenom II X2/X3/X4/X6, and Athlon II X2/X3/X4 processors. It features the AMD 990FX/SB950 chipset. This socket AM3+ motherboard has four memory card slots, and holds a maximum of 32 GB of DDR3 memory with a maximum speed of 2200 MHz. The hard drive connectivity for this Biostar motherboard is available via five SATA3 connections with support for RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10 configurations. The audio works through the Realtek ALC892 eight-channel, high-definition audio chipset. This motherboard features two PCI, three PCI-E x16 2.0, and one PCI-E x1 2.0 expansion slot. Graphics are handled by the AMD CrossFireX and Nvidia SLI chipsets. The connections on this Biostar motherboard include ports for the PS/2 keyboard, a PS/2 mouse, and an eSATA connection. It also features two USB 3.0, four USB 2.0, and a FireWire port. A RJ-45 LAN connection and six audio interfaces XWA are included as well.
