- d***m (453)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThe amplifier did not deliver promissed power of 50W. The output power was about 20W only. Moreover after a few minutes of testing the amplifier stopped working. After opening the box it was found that internal buffer MMIC amplifier burned out highly probably due to improper cooling. It seems that the amplifier is usefull only for amplification of digital signals with high peak to average ratio, however even at such conditions it was not able to deliver declared peak output power of 50W !

Seriously! Other than this, I can’t find anything negative to say. The quality is great, the power output is right on target, and the power supply is also well built. Will 20DBM in, that amp puts out exactly 4 watts! The Heltec V3 dose 21dbm so I tried it, lol, I got 4.5 watts out. That was way too much so I turned the V3 to 18dbm and with just over 3 watts its Good.
