It is cute and not very big so it will not take room around your fireplace. I currently have matches and kindling in it. Once I remodel fireplace wall with integrated columns and book nooks, there will be a designated cubicle for the firewood. This little rustic piece will have some holes drilled into it and will be an outdoor planter for the remainder of seasons.
