Despite some feedback saying the valves are tricky to install they proved to be easy to fit and overall setup was really straight forward and logical. The important bit - sound quality is great. I am not a hi-fi buff and can't comment on the finer technical points but very impressed with the output. I have a couple of albums on both CD and vinyl and to my ears vinyl copy passing through the X4 is much richer.
